Crap they need to MAKE!. (part 1)

Better Cellphone!

Ok, what do we want in a perfect cellphone?

  • Size (yeah, it does matter)
  • Biggest screen possible
  • Bigger buttons
  • Longer battery time
  • More Functions

  • Size: Unlike your precious manhood, we actually want smaller and thinner!

Bigger Screen/Button: Step out of the analog and into digital! Use touchscreen buttons!

    Longer battery time: No brainer!

More Function: Music, Video, Camera, Bluetooth, Internet, etc..
Who doesn't want to send their buddy a picture of them dancing to music!

    And on to the pictures...

    • ya gota think about the wear and tear that such a screen would be put to. i dont belive it would be economical or practical to replace a button that has a much higher wear and tear resistance than a screen. it would mean that to make something like this possible there would have to be a new way of capturing input, one that dosent invole putting pressure on the most important and sensitive part of the device. I'm with you on that one screens are big reconfigurable animated buttons. there just really fragile for the momment.

    • Hey, this is Projectalpha from OT. You could use an OLED touch screen to build it and it will be able to take more abuse than the previous guy noted.

    • Actually it's more economical and practical cause it cost less to manufacture a small touchscreen than 11+ buttons, switches, etc..
Touchscreen are more durable than you think. Good example is the Gameboy DS, it has a touchscreen made for 8 year olds.

    • Hey Projectalpha. OLED has an extra benefit of being self lit and more viewable in direct sunlight. Perfect choice for this application!
